I work with the quest to bring nature closer to you. ‘You’, being a person living on this planet, which needs to be part of the equation. For me maintaining a close relationship with nature, is of great importance, both to the life of people and the planet. We recognise our place in nature.

My handwoven works are an invitation to slow down, to live conscious.
To listen to the stories of the elders, implement local resources and knowledge, and bridge it to tomorrow with todays possibilities. To find new tools and strategies for evaluating design with a view to social, cultural and environmental sustainability.

For me those are elements that create and define our culture. As a designer and artist I feel responsible to offer an alternative to todays mass consumption, and production.

By wearing The Ocean Top you vill bring these values and the love for the Ocean, close to your own heart.

Slow Design Studio is a creative studio, working to counteract fast life and the disappearance of local traditions. Through a Slow approach to design and communication, I want to promote reflection and a more conscious approach to how the everyday choices you take has consequences, for yourself and others. Slow Design is not a pace, it is a mindset.
