The Blue Hands Class
Upcoming in 2025, this class will be held during the tourist season at my home, this workshop blends weaving with the art of natural dyeing. Participants learn to create botanical dyes, including the mesmerizing blue color dyeing process, and use these threads to weave pieces alive with oceanic blues. We will use Woad from my garden (evtl Indigo), and create a botanical blue dye over the gauldron.
This is a perfect offering for those wanting to connect to nature and explore the alchemy of creating with natural color. The rhythm of dyeing and weaving invites you to slow down, find stillness, and immerse yourself in the beauty of transformation.
